About Me

My first career, as a custom remodeling contractor, has led me to my encore as a therapist, helping to remodel couples, families, and individual lives. With thirty-three years in 12-step recovery, I apply a variety of therapeutic methods, theories, and philosophies to help clients master the art of resilience, differentiation and help discover new ways to open up and re-landscape their emotional well-being.

I am well versed in cognitive restructuring as a means to address "rational and irrational thinking". I encourage a review of the past, with a consideration for a spiritual path. Together we design the blueprint in which inner peace and freedom are outlined.

After graduating from Pacific Oaks in Pasadena, my internship took me to the 'Dream Center', which services the homeless population in Los Angeles, where I included anger and crisis management. I then worked at 'Salesian High School' in Boyle Heights helping young men formulate new life strategies and 'Victims of Crime' close to the criminal courthouse in Van Nuys. I have been with the nonprofit organization, Neighborhood Counseling Center since 2016, where I am supervised by Alan Rudolph, MFT #13530
